- Extract the ZIP and read
START-HERE.md. - Open a terminal inside the extracted folder. With Node.js 20.19+ or 22.12+ and npm installed, run
npx vite@8.3.0 --host 127.0.0.1. npm may prompt to download Vite. - Open the local address printed in the terminal, normally
http://localhost:5173/. - Edit the headline in
index.htmland refresh. Product fixtures are inassets/js/catalog-data.js; Free styles are inassets/css/catalog.css.
No framework or build step is needed. A static server avoids differences in how browsers handle local files.
When to choose Pro.
Choose Pro when you need the connected bag and checkout demonstration, account/support layouts, comparison, wishlist, gift finder or reusable components. Neither edition processes real orders or payments.
